Heather Rose
Heather Rose created Purple Poetry to facilitate accessible and meaningful connection through poetry.
Growing up Scottish meant being surrounded by a rich poetic and literary history. Heather wanted to create a modern avenue for people to engage with poetry and creativity through conversation.
Heather has qualifications in Business Management and Counselling and Psychotherapy. The latter helps inform Heather’s listening and handling of conversations with people. The former means there is no messin’ when it comes to booking Purple Poetry at your events.
Heather is the two-time winner of the Loud Poets’ Edinburgh Slam Heats, and the 2026 Loud Poets’ UK Grand Slam Champion (second time’s the charm).
Purple Poetry takes Heather to weddings, private events, pop-ups, holistic retreats, and your local cafe.
Heather Rose is extremely grateful for her purple life.
